Kiley's Prayer

I've been wanting to capture some of the things Kiley prays about on a fairly regular basis.  Children's prayers are so sweet at this age.  Here are some of the things she says:

"Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for us.  Thank you for Baby and for Hannahbear.  Thank you for our bedrooms.  Thank you for Miss Awilda (a teacher), for Emily (a friend), and for Lauren (a special member of our family).  Thank you for daddy when he was a little boy.  And thank you for momma when she was a baby and a little girl.  Thank you for our parties.  Thank you that daddy come home in safety.  Help us sleep well.  In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

I'm telling you... this kid melts my heart.  I'm usually soooo ready to get her to bed by the time nighttime prayers come around, but I have to take a step back, slow down, and BE PRESENT.  I have a 3 year old.  A sweet, blond-headed little girl who thanks her Heavenly Father for Me.  This child has enhanced and enriched Kullen's and my lives in more ways than we can count.  I am tremendously blessed to have this sweetpea, this lovebug, this pumpkin in my life.

10/23/09 - More things from Kiley's prayers: Thank you for Grandma and Grandpa.  Thank you for school.  Thank you for when mommy and daddy got married.  Thank you for all our things.  Thank you for the Volvo.  Help mommy get better from her cold.
